CROWNS & BRIDGES IN BAKERSFIELD

Restore strength, function and a natural appearance.

Custom crowns protect weakened teeth, while bridges can replace missing teeth and help restore a more complete bite.

RESTORATIVE DESIGN

Planned around the tooth—and the whole smile.

A crown covers and supports a tooth that is cracked, heavily restored, worn or otherwise weakened. A bridge uses supporting teeth or implants to replace one or more missing teeth.

We design restorations in-house, considering bite, contacts, contour and appearance before a trusted United States based milling partner fabricates the final restoration to our specifications.

WHAT WE CONSIDER

Appropriate treatment begins with the diagnosis.

The final recommendation depends on your examination, history, priorities and the rest of your oral health.

01

Protect a weakened tooth

A crown can distribute biting forces across a tooth that needs more support.

02

Restore missing teeth

A bridge can fill a space and help stabilize function when it is an appropriate option.

03

Custom digital design

Proportion, contacts and bite are reviewed with the intended clinical result in mind.

04

Natural integration

Shade, shape and surface character are planned around nearby teeth.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A straightforward, well-explained process.

You will know what we are evaluating, what we recommend and what comes next.

01

Prepare and document

The tooth is prepared and digitally scanned; a temporary restoration may protect it while the final is made.

02

Design and fabricate

The restoration is designed to the clinical plan and milled by our United States based partner.

03

Fit and finalize

We verify fit, contacts, bite and appearance before the restoration is secured.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Answers before your visit.

These answers are general. Your examination determines which recommendations apply to you.

Call (661) 831-0800
How do I know whether I need a crown or a filling?+

The decision depends on how much sound tooth remains, the location of damage and the forces the tooth must withstand. We explain the reason for the recommended level of coverage.

How long does treatment take?+

Most custom crowns and bridges require a preparation visit and a delivery visit after fabrication. Timing varies with the restoration and any treatment needed first.

Is a bridge my only option for a missing tooth?+

No. Depending on the space, supporting teeth, bone and goals, an implant or removable option may also be considered.
