Save any pieces you can find, avoid chewing on that side and call promptly. Even a small fracture can expose deeper tooth structure.
Keep the crown if you have it and do not use household glue. We can evaluate the tooth and determine whether the restoration can be replaced.
Dental swelling should not be ignored. Call promptly—especially if it is spreading, accompanied by fever or changing how you swallow or breathe.
Time matters. Handle a permanent tooth by the crown, not the root, keep it moist and call immediately for guidance.
